Breed specific municipal laws usually target pit bulls first because of their reputation. But they got that reputation from the "juvenile" behavior of their owners! Take Vick for example. The Best Friends Animal Sanctuary took 22 of the most "dangerous" Vick dogs and successfully rehabilitated them. At least one of them, and maybe more, has found a forever home with a loving family.
